Highlights like the Pappa al Pomodoro and Paccheri al Ragù speak to classic flavors elevated by quality ingredients and careful preparation. The Vegetables Mix Plate offers a fresh and vibrant option, perfectly complementing the richer dishes. Unique offerings such as the Crostoni and the Crostone Gorgonzola Mela e Miele bring a delightful balance of textures and flavors—savory, sweet, and creamy—that linger in memory long after the meal.

Whether you are stopping by for an afternoon lunch or a leisurely dinner, the vibe suits couples, small groups, and solo travelers seeking genuine local cuisine without the frantic pace common in Florence’s busiest areas.

Several patrons have noted the exceptional quality of the pasta—particularly the carbonara, rich with Parmigiano—and praised less expected dishes, such as a uniquely flavorful burger that defies its simple description. Return visits by satisfied diners are a testament to the consistent quality and welcoming hospitality that Osteria del Grano provides.

In summary, Osteria del Grano is a gem in Florence’s culinary landscape that offers well-executed traditional dishes, a warm and inviting space, and attentive service. It appeals to those who appreciate authentic Italian flavors served with genuine care in a relaxed setting, making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a memorable meal off the beaten path.

We had a meal at Osteria del Grano in Florence, and it was a pleasant surprise. They offer gluten-free pastas and pizzas, and everything we tried was really tasty. The service was super friendly, and the staff were just genuinely nice people. The menu isn’t very large, but it’s got enough variety and everything is well done. It’s not a well-known or flashy spot, and in fact it wasn’t too crowded when we were there—which is usually not the best sign, but in this case it worked out great. Prices were reasonable, and overall we had a lovely meal with a very welcoming vibe.

Super good, the guy was very nice and the atmosphere was on point. The pastas there are incredible, special mention for the carbonara pasta, was so good and tasty, very yummy with a lot of parmigiano !! Definitely recommend this place, it’s very nice and less expensive and crowded than most restaurants!

We loved this place so much we came back a second time. The Greek salad was delicious. We had tortellini with gorgonzola and pear and it was the best tasting meal I had in Florence. We would come back an third time if we had time!

In Florence just for the day/evening - stumbled upon here with my partner at 245pm today. I had the "basic" burger...it was anything but basic. In fact, it may have been one of the best meat flavor profiles I've had in the past 51 years roaming the planet ! 11/10
